I am not sure how many were made, but I do know the books are starting to become harder to find in Romania as well. The 1st Edition Romanian hard and softcover were published by Egmont Romania.

After speaking with someone from Romania who has read both translations, apparently the 1st translation was not very well done; Arthur, I was told, was the much, much better read.
